Born in 1965 in Waldsassen.
Lives and works in Cologne, Germany
Christine Reifenberger studied at the Art Academies of Munich and Düsseldorf after her apprenticeship as a theater painter at the State Opera in Munich.
In 2022 has received several awards and one of the largest scholarships of Germany. The Kulturamt Köln awarded her the prize "Update Cologne", with a large 300 sqm exhibition and catalog in the space of the Horbach-Foundation in January and February 2022.
She received the one-year prestigious working scholarship Kunstfonds Bonn in 2022/2023 and she was nominated for the Zonta Cologne Art Award.
In 2021 and 2022 the artist was an external expert and mentor at the University of Arts Bern, Switzerland.
